1880 Butterfield farm re-imagined as offices

Home Farm, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, UK Offices, hospitality, multi-function

Home Farm Hub in Borehamwood is a new development by its historic owners The Aldenham Estate that brings back into use the existing half of the famous Gothic Revival architect William Butterfield’s Grade II model farm from 1880. Alongside are new contemporary-style buildings on the remaining footprint of the Butterfield structures that have been lost over time.

The Hub will provide modern flexible workspaces in an idyllic rural North London Green Belt location along with a cafe, yoga studio & multi-functional spaces, all in a new landscape setting designed by Tom Stuart-Smith.

Planning Consent was granted in January 2022 & construction information is currently midway through RIBA Stage 4.
