1760’s Chambers building becomes Gentleman’s retreat

Central London, UK Residential

Almost every internal finish & much of the spatial arrangement is new in this residential reimagining within a Grade 1 listed building from the 1760’s by Sir William Chambers.  The new Georgian-style shell is overlaid with a 1930’s modernism related to Pierre Chareau’s classic Maison de Verre in Paris.  Special thanks to Bisca for their work on the staircases & Rupert Bevan for all the specialist joinery & glass.
